Opening of the season !

It’s been a while since I last shared things here. But it’s about to change.
The last couple of days, the temperature was quite hot here in Montreal, but came down a bit. Yesterday, I came back to the countryside to my parents house, and
I realized I was going to be alone during the evening. I had one thing in mind : the creek.
Some context : my parents own a large property, where I grew up. At the bottom of a hill, there’s a quite large creek, with many deep parts and hidden with trees and foliage. It’s also very beautiful there. So, since I was alone, I walked all the way to the creek, before just stepping in the water. My converses and my jean legs were automatically saturated with water, and it felt awesome. I started to wade around the river, sitting from time to time in the deeper parts, getting completely soaked in the process. I had a lot of fun going in and out of the creek like that, and seeing the water dripping from my clothes each time I got out. Oh, I was also holding my phone to take videos and pics for some of my wet friends, so I was also a bit careful. That’s a major problem when you don’t own (at least not yet) a selfie stick haha.
At some point in my exploration of the creek, I reached a nice mud spot on the bank. I have this spot in mind since last year, so it was the perfect occasion to try it. After having problems setting up my camera, I finally had an intense wallow in the mud spot, getting muddy from head to toe in the process. I think it was the first time I got this muddy. My shirt, jean and converses were all completely covered. It was so fun and liberating, and felt awesome.
Finally, I went back in the river to rinse a bit. I’ve then finished with a warm shower at home to wash everything, especially my hairs. But yeah, I had a very good time, and can’t wait to go back to the creek soon !
